Entertaining since playing in bands in high school, Joe Gillies is an experienced entertainer. Continuing to play in a variety of club, original and wedding bands throughout the years, you can still find him behind the drums today. His DJ career started in 1993 as an emcee/entertainer for one of the pioneers in the mobile DJ business. Since then, Joe has performed at hundreds of weddings and corporate events from coast to coast. Band and DJ gigs have taken Joe to Philadelphia, Colorado, Vermont, Chicago, Florida and San Francisco. Thank you Joe! Everyone had a great time and they all told me how great you were. I know we really didn't give you a lot of information but, I knew I could trust you. Joe was great! We saw Joe at my cousin's wedding and thought he did a great job and immediately asked him to do ours. He was professional, responsive, helpful and enthusiastic about our day. Couldn't have asked for a better DJ.

From beginning to end, Joe made the entire process the least painful part of planning the wedding! Joe listened to what we wanted, but he isn't a "yes" man (which we appreciated)—he was sure to provide his opinion/suggestions to ensure a wonderful experience for us & our guests. He made sure to follow up when he said he would (which a lot of our vendors did not) and made sure to keep specific notes (again, not all vendors did). If you're looking for a DJ who will do a great job but won't be in anyone's face (we've all seen those characters), then Joe's your man!
